connecting minds festival
For the second year running, LTK4 and Les Instants Vidéo are delighted to be part of the Connected Minds Festival, presented and coordinated by Mourad Hamla.
part 1: Video hearing: video to sound (15′)
In 2024 Les Instants Vidéo (Marseille) & LTK4 (Cologne) launched an open call for artworks entitled Videohearings: Video to Sound. Video artists were invited to submit a silent video, which was then given a live soundtrack during the festival by artists from the collective Avartar Curators, Rochus Aust & Verena Barié (LTK4, Cologne, Germany).
The works created through this process continue their journey and will now be presented in Algiers:
- Ohne Titel (4’59 – 2024) / Jochen Schemm (Germany)
- I woke up in a jungle dream… (4’05 – 2024) / Saman Haghighivand (Iran)
- In secret (1’06 – 2024) Anna-Lea Weiand (Germany)
- Solitude (5’55 – 2024) Paul B. Menezes (Portugal)
Part 2: program from algeria
- Déréalisation (2017/2024 – 3’) / Hanane Hadj Aissa & Kamila Ould Larbi (Algeria)
- The Paths of the Soul (12’24 – 2026) / Sabri Benammar (Algeria)
- The Breath Network (3’11 – 2026) / Mourad Hamla (Algeria)
