They are artists or content creators, as well as doctors, anthropologists, social workers, youtuber, film researcher, producer, journalist, columnist, architect, art teacher, editor, biologist…..
They have different practices, artistic and/or content creation, and are all multidisciplinary: photography, art video, installation, sound, documentary filmmaking, fiction, publishing, 2D animation, podcasts, vlogs, sculpture, music, graphic design, painting, illustration, clay, wood, iron, plastic arts, theater, dance, circus, writing, acting, performance, stand-up…
What these 20 artists and content creators have in common is their desire to explore complex and social issues through artistic expression. Resonating with the phrase Because what do humans live on? (Bertold Brecht), they take up human rights issues such as freedom of expression and censorship, relations of domination, freedom to construct one’s own identity, social justice, the impact of colonialism, the rights of sexual and gender minorities, etc.
Their projects are still in progress, but here are the first promising outlines.
