Le voyage explore la pensée jusqu’à la recherche de nouvelles régions. Sous les traits d’un chevalier enfermé dans la bibliothèque d’un château, la pensée mettra en marche les mécanismes de l’édifice, transformant les murs oppressants en une rampe de lancement vers l’espace de l’imagination.

Silvia De Gennaro vit et travaille à Rome, en Italie. Depuis 1999, elle est membre fondateur de l’atelier d’art Assaus. Depuis quinze ans, elle s’occupe d’art numérique, d’art vidéo et d’animation. Ses œuvres ont participé à plusieurs expositions d’art vidéo et festivals de films à travers le monde, tels que : Bnl Media Art Festival, Video Formes, Current New Media, FILE, Visionaria, Madatac, Invideo, Magmart, Athens Video Art Festival, Brooklyn Film Festival, ECU, Interfilm Berlino, Nastri d’Argento. Actuellement son travail se partage entre la réalisation d’une vidéo à thématique sociale et politique et un projet sur la ville et la perception du voyageur, intitulé « Carnets de voyage ».

Her works have participated in several video art exhibitions and film festivals around the world, such as: : Bnl Media Art Festival, Video Formes, Current New Media, FILE, Visionaria, Madatac, Invideo, Magmart, Athens Video Art Festival, Brooklyn Film Festival, ECU, Interfilm Berlino, Nastri d’Argento. Currently her work is divided between the realization of social and political themed video and a project about the city and the perception of the traveler, entitled « Travel Notebooks ».
