Terf/Antiterf

Ce projet est né d’une objection aux discours transphobes des TERF. Je suis un homme trans et ceci est un autoportrait. Je me déshabille dans un plan-séquence tandis que le discours des TERF affiche sa haine. Ils parlent d’opérations irréversibles. Je suis ravi de mes cicatrices. Mon corps est légitime. J’existe. Qu’ils aillent se faire foutre.

This project was born from an objection to the transphobic speeches of TERFs. I am a trans man and this is a self-portrait. I undress in a sequence shot as the TERFs’ speech displays its hatred. They speak of irreversible operations. I am delighted with my scars. My body is legit. I exist. Fuck them.

Lucien Pin (il/ils) est un jeune cinéaste et homme transgenre de 26 ans, diplômé de La Fémis en 2022. Parallèlement à ses études à La Fémis, il a réalisé les courts métrages BOÏ et TERF/ANTITERF. Ces dernières années, Lucien s’est engagé politiquement pour des causes qui lui semblaient justes, comme la lutte pour les droits des personnes LGBTQIA+ et des minorités de genre. Parallèlement à son activité de cinéaste, il travaille sur un mémoire de recherche sur les autoportraits transgenres. Il est également producteur pour la société française MORITURI Films.

Lucien Pin (he/they) is a young filmmaker and transgender man aged 26 who graduated from La Fémis in 2022. In parallel with his studies at La Fémis, he directed the short films BOÏ, as well as TERF/ANTITERF. In recent years, Lucien has been politically involved in causes that seemed right to him, such as the fight for the rights of LGBTQIA+ people and gender minorities. In parallel with his activity as a filmmaker, he is working on a research paper on transgender self-portraits. They’re also a producer for the french company MORITURI Films.
