Stop Mansplaining !

Pendant des siècles de tradition et des décennies à venir, les hommes ont expliqué le monde – qu’on leur ait demandé de le faire ou non. En encourageant la culture de cette ancienne tradition avec un sous-entendu ironique, cette publicité sociale souligne l’absurdité du mansplaining afin de plaider en faveur de l’équité entre les sexes et d’une communication appropriée à hauteur d’yeux.

For centuries of tradition and decades to come, men explain the world – whether they were asked to do so or not. By promoting the cultivation of this ancient tradition with an ironic undertone, this social spot highlights the absurdity of mansplaining in order to advocate for gender equity and an appropriate communication on eye-level.

Theresa Rehe a grandi à Berlin depuis 1996. À l’âge de 10 ans, elle a décidé pour la première fois de faire un film. Outre des projets indépendants, Theresa a travaillé sur plusieurs films professionnels ainsi qu’au théâtre. Après avoir obtenu une licence en arts et sciences libérales avec une spécialisation en philosophie du langage, en cinéma et en théâtre, Theresa a entamé des études en réalisation de fiction et en montage à l’école de télévision et de cinéma de Munich, où elle souhaite apprendre à transformer des images en mouvement en images véritablement émouvantes.

Since 1996, Theresa Rehe grew up in Berlin. At the age of 10, she decided for the first time to make a film. Besides independent projects, Theresa worked on several professional filmsets as well as in theatre. After her bachelor studies in Liberal Arts & Sciences with a focus of philosophy of language, film, and theatre, Theresa started her studies in fictional directing and montage at the School for Television and Film in Munich, where she wants to learn how to transform moving pictures into truly emotionally moving pictures.
