Après des études dans le domaine du cinéma à Toulouse, Clément Herbert vient récemment d’obtenir un master de création documentaire à l’école de Lussas, en Ardèche. Ses travaux gravitent autour de la question du vivant et de la mémoire, en interrogent notamment les liens intimes entretenus aux espaces habités. Également porté par un intérêt fort à la question de l’imaginaire et du fantastique, ses récits prennent place dans des univers à la lisière du dicible où la perception du monde s’anime sur un point de bascule entre réel et irréel…

After studying cinema in Toulouse, Clément Herbert recently obtained a master’s degree in documentary creation at the Lussas school in Ardèche. His work revolves around the question of life and memory, in particular questioning the intimate links maintained with inhabited spaces. Also driven by a strong interest in the question of the imaginary and the fantastic, his stories take place in universes on the edge of the sayable where the perception of the world comes alive on a tipping point between real and unreal…
