Ayce Kartal est diplômé du département d’animation des Beaux-Arts de l’Université Anadolu d’Eskişehir (2010). En 2018, avec son court métrage WICKED GIRL, il est devenu le premier réalisateur à remporter le Grand Prix du festival de Clermont-Ferrand pour un film d’animation, avant de remporter le César du meilleur court métrage d’animation en 2019. Ayce travaille actuellement sur son premier long métrage, All the softness in the world.
