L’Estiu Robat est un projet multidisciplinaire avec une approche collaborative qui explore le rôle de la résilience et de la répétition dans un processus de deuil. Après le choc causé par une perte, il est temps de reprendre la vie. Ce retour passe inévitablement par l’acceptation d’une douleur incontrôlable qui frappe, prend le contrôle et éclate de l’intérieur. Encore et encore. Cette répétition change de fréquence, d’intensité et de durée. Comme un rituel ou un mantra, elle produit un effet cathartique.
L’Estiu Robat is a multidisciplinary project with a collaborative approach that explores the role of resilience and repetition during a grieving process. After the shock caused by a loss, it is time to resume life. This way back goes inevitably through the acceptance of an uncontrollable pain that beats, takes control and bursts from within. Over and over again. This repetition changes in frequency, intensity and length. As if it was a ritual or a mantra, it produces a cathartic effect.
Isabel Val Sánchez (Barcelone, 1988) est une artiste visuelle travaillant à travers la photographie, le dessin et la vidéo. Son travail explore la nostalgie, le chagrin et les liens invisibles entre passé et présent. Sa pratique est basée sur le rituel et la répétition, suivie d’un grand intérêt pour les techniques analogiques qui laissent place à l’improvisation et aux erreurs. Son travail a été exposé et projeté à Barcelone, Budapest, Berlin et Timisoara, et a été mentionné dans des journaux et magazines tels que comme Magyar Nemzet, Fotóművészet et Yorokobu. Actuellement, elle est basée à Barcelone et représentée par la galerie Mymuseum à Budapest.
Isabel Val Sánchez (Barcelona, 1988) is a visual artist working across photography, drawing and video. Her work explores nostalgia, grief and the invisible connections between past and present. Her practice is based on ritual and repetition, followed by a great interest in analogue techniques that allow space for improvisation and mistakes.Her work has been exhibited and screened in Barcelona, Budapest, Berlin and Timisoara, and has been mentioned in papers and magazines such as Magyar Nemzet, Fotóművészet and Yorokobu.Currently she is based in Barcelona and represented by Mymuseum Gallery in Budapest.
