Née en 1993, Margaux Sirven est cinéaste documentaire et photographe. Formée en Histoire et en Anthropologie (Sorbonne, Universidad de Salamanca, EHESS), puis à la réalisation aux Ateliers Varan et à l’École documentaire de création de Lussas ; elle vit et travaille à Marseille. Elle est active dans plusieurs collectifs : l’Empreinte, association de production et de création participative qu’elle a cofondée, le Laboratoire L’Argent, dédié au cinéma argentique. Ses films ont été montrés dans divers festivals et lieux culturels, en France et à l’étranger.

Born in 1993, Margaux Sirven is a documentary filmmaker and photographer. She studied History and Anthropology at the Sorbonne, the University of Salamanca, and the EHESS, before training in filmmaking at Ateliers Varan and at the École documentaire de création in Lussas. She lives and works in Marseille. She is active in several collectives, including l’Empreinte, a participatory production and creative association that she co-founded, and Laboratoire L’Argent, dedicated to analogue film. Her films have been screened at various festivals and cultural venues in France and abroad
