Inspiré d’une chanson du chanteur afghan Ahmad Zahir, « You have black eyes » est un montage en flux de conscience représentant des corps collectifs en état constant de perturbation, de mouvement, de traitement et de deuil. Il célèbre le corps comme lieu historique et domestique de résistance par la danse et le mouvement, incluant des images trouvées de fourmis portant des fleurs, du joueur de rubab Ustad Beltoon interrompu et de chants guttural hazara dans un paysage imaginaire.

Drawing from a song by Afghan singer Ahmad Zahir, « you have black eyes » is a stream-of-consciousness montage depicting collective bodies in a constant state of disruption, movement, processing, and grieving. It celebrates the body as a historical, domestic site of resistance through dance and movement including found footage of ants carrying flowers, rubab player Ustad Beltoon interrupted, and Hazara throat singing across an imaginary landscape.
