Dans les forêts industrielles, un groupe de femmes preneurs de son restitue les chants des oiseaux. Cherchant à rapprocher le microphone des êtres vivants restants, elles réactivent des paysages sonores endommagés.

In industrial forests, a group of women sound recordists is playing back the songs of birds. Seeking to bring the microphone to the living beings that remain, they reactivate damaged soundscapes.

Mélia Roger (*1996, FR) est artiste et ingénieure du son. Activement engagée dans le domaine, elle explore différentes manières d’écouter notre environnement. Entre bibliothèques sonores immersives et approche plus intimiste et expérimentale de la prise de son, elle mène actuellement une recherche artistique, interrogeant les relations entre arts sonores et écologie acoustique.

Between immersive sound libraries and a more intimate and experimental approach to sound recording, she is currently involved in artistic research, questioning the relationships between sound arts and acoustic ecology.
