Golnaz Moghaddam est née en 1987 Téhéran-IRAN. Elle a obtenu un baccalauréat en sculpture et une maîtrise en réalisation d’animation. Sa thèse d’animation (Dream) a été présentée dans divers festivals de cinéma en Iran, aux États-Unis, au Canada, en Grèce, en Allemagne, en Italie et en Espagne. De plus, elle a été membre du jury des films de la tioles à l’université paris 8 en 2016. Elle a participé à de nombreuses expositions et concours collectifs de sculpture et de photographie en Iran, aux États-Unis, au Canada et au Royaume-Uni. Elle a également passé des ateliers de cinéma à l’OKF à l’ambassade d’Autriche en Iran. Elle a reçu le prix d’or du scénario au 9e festival international d’animation de Téhéran en 2015 et elle est également lauréate du Persbook (3e concours d’art contemporain iranien en sculpture) en 2011. Elle a également été nominée dans plusieurs festivals dont Limelight à Londres-Royaume-Uni en 2017. Son travail est également publié dans le catalogue AVIFF (Festival du film d’art de Cannes) en 2016.

Moreover, she has been a Jury member of Les film de la tioles in university paris 8 in 2016. She has participated in numerous group sculpture and photography exhibitions and competitions in Iran, USA, Canada and UK. Also she’s passed film workshops in OKF in Austrian embassy in Iran. She’s received the Golden award for screenplay in 9th Tehran international Animation festival in 2015 and also She’s the winner of Persbook (3rd Iranian contemporary Art competition in sculpture) in 2011. Also, she has been nominated in several festivals including Limelight in London-UK in 2017. Her work is also published in AVIFF (Cannes Art film festival) catalogue in 2016.
