We would like to warmly thank all the artists who have entrusted us with their works.<\/strong> We will watch them with all the attention they deserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And yet, it is obvious that video art is alive and kicking, an in-discipline, which may causes poelitic turbulence, ventures into new territories, dares to experiment, to doubt and to take sides\u2026 We stand up for electronic poetry, deep and joyful,\u00a0that shapes the raw material that is language, and is always in search of a close relationship with everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Festival Les Instants Vid\u00e9o <\/em>is an event dedicated to all the forms of video art and electronic poetry (screening, installations, performances). It explores, as one explores a city, different ways of presenting the works, and in the continuity of Fluxus, endeavours to avoid the \u00ab\u00a0entre-soi\u00a0\u00bb by mingling the worlds (social, health, education, integration\u2026). The festival takes place in Marseille, the South Region and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPoetry is not a luxury, it is a vital necessity<\/strong>\u201d Audre Lorde<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What motivates us is to create encounters initiated \u00ab\u00a0by\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0around\u00a0\u00bb the images. In the words of Marie Jos\u00e9 Mondzain, who develops the idea that in order to see together we must speak: \u201cLearning to see is then nothing more than learning to speak\u2026\u201d. Our working material is video art. The language of video art helps us to question the place and role of the image in our societies. It is also a laboratory for examining the state of our world. What happens when you combine little things in life<\/em> with video art<\/em>? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let us listen to the echoes of the world transmitted by the artists, let us listen to their cries as well as their silences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
