The project\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0Empowering a New Generation of Human Rights Advocates in the Arab Region\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0was\u00a0heldbetween\u00a02020\u00a0and\u00a02022\u00a0by\u00a0Cairo Institute for Humans Right Studies, R\u00e9seau Euromed France , Ligue de l\u2019enseignement des bouches du Rh\u00f4ne\u00a0and\u00a0Instants Vid\u00e9o\u00a0Num\u00e9riques &\u00a0Po\u00e9tiques,\u00a0and\u00a0supported by the United Nation Democracy Fund.\u00a0It\u00a0took\u00a0place between Tunisia and France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

December, 1 to 3: jury for Festival Tous Courts\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The Festival Les Instants Vid\u00e9o<\/em> (35) is invited by Festival Tous Courts<\/strong><\/em> <\/a>(40) as a jury for the international short experimental films comp\u00e9tition. We will be represented by Tiffanie Taveau, one of the members of our artistic collective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 3 competition programmes will be screened on Thursday, December 1st (3pm), on Friday, December 2nd (11am) in the Cin\u00e9ma de la Manufacture, and at 6pm in the Amphith\u00e9\u00e2tre de la Manufacture, at the Cit\u00e9 du Livre<\/em> in Aix-en-Provence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

July, 19 to 26<\/strong>: 7th video art and performance biennale \/si:n\/ in Palestine – \u0633<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

In the seventh edition of the \/si:n\/ Festival in 2022, the question of insurgency will be made central to its theme. The programme includes video art film screenings, installations, and public performances, made by international, Arab and Palestinian artists to be exhibited across Palestine. The works challenge the obvious, break established creeds and hijack and open new perspectives through which to rethink the present moment. The works are established around solidarity, community, rebellion, equality, race and borders and provoke a new understanding of the role of individuals and communities in creating a more just, equal and peaceful world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Co-created in 2009 by les Instants Vid\u00e9o and the A.M. Qattan Foundation <\/span><\/a>((Mahmoud Abu Hahhash & Nisreen Naffa) and with the support of  Philippe Guiguet Bologne (at that time the director of the French Institute of Ramallah), it is the first event of its kind in Palestine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, it gathers seven other partners: Magazine 28<\/span> <\/a>(Rafah), the French Institute (Gaza), Al Ma\u2019mal Foundation for Contemporary Art<\/span><\/a> (Jerusalem), Dar Al Sabbagh Diaspora Studies and Research Centre<\/span> <\/a>and Dar Yusuf Nasri Jacir for Art and Research <\/span><\/a>(Bethlehem), Tishreen<\/span><\/a> (Tayibe) and the Ramallah Municipality. 
In July,<\/strong> the festival will tour six Palestinian cities: Ramallah, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Tayibe, Gaza and Rafah. 
In November,<\/strong> a Palestinian video art programme will travel to Marseille to be presented at the 35th Festival Les Instants Vid\u00e9o. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
