FALLING DOWN – UPRISINGS<\/strong>

The 32<\/em>nd <\/em><\/sup>Festival Les Instants Vid\u00e9o <\/em>will this year be even more transnational with a strongest togetherness with the 6 Biennale \/si:n\/ <\/em><\/strong>in Palestine. A shared poster and the choice to open our two events with a same film: The image book<\/strong><\/em> by Jean-Luc Godard<\/strong>. In Ramallah and in Gaza, on September 14 and in Marseille on November 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have never been to Palestine waiting for the right opportunity to do so, September will be an amazing time to live a poetic and historic experience there. Apart from the film, you will discover in public spaces video installations and performances. Enough to break down the clich\u00e9s about Palestine we can see in the media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On November 8, at La Friche la Belle de Mai in Marseille, The image book <\/em>will be screened in presence of Le\u00efla Shahid <\/strong>who accepts to join us to celebrate the poetic union of Gaza, Ramallah and Marseilles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An opportunity to discover our new exhibition of video installation (October 25 till December 1) and to attend for 3 days (November 8 to 10) our films and performances proposals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As usual, we will have beautiful breakaways, with exhibitions in Ephemeral Popular Galleries<\/strong> (SARA, ADPEI, Le Ryad Hotel), screenings in the Art School in Aix-en-Provence, in Vid\u00e9odromes 2 (Marseille), in Milan ([.BOX] Videoart project space),on the Web TV Visualcontainer, and to finish on a high not in Addis Abeba (Ethiopia) with the 3rd<\/sup>Addis Video Art Festival .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All these proposals are free of charge, a choice we decided with all our partners against the commoditisation of culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
