Long-time collaborators, Alysse Stepanian and Philip Mantione will perform together in a new work that incorporates Mantione\u2019s music, Stepanian\u2019s 3D animations and her critical analysis of American culture and politics. Choreographer and dancer, Mallory Fabian, whose work has been described as \u00ab\u00a0very physical, intrusive and confrontational\u00a0\u00bb (LA Dance Chronicle), adds a powerful voice to this quirky hybrid performance that fuses art and poetry with the factual language of history. Mantione\u2019s music includes live synth and processed guitar, prerecorded electronics and samples of vocalist Jan Opalach. He uses found text culled from examples of Bayesian Poisoning, an email spammer technique that undermines spam filtering by inserting nonsensical and often poetic paragraphs in the body of an email. In Stepanian\u2019s 3D animations, a mythopoeic cowwoman that embodies the memory of the universe, surveys the destructive human legacy from a posthuman world. Stepanian will perform with poetic and political messages juxtaposed with personal memes that dance on the screen to the rhythm of Mantione\u2019s music. This performance alludes to selective memory in constructing historical narratives, and suggests an optimism that something positive can emerge from the chaos and the often-malevolent mien of humanity. This work will be further developed for future presentations.<\/p>\n

\nThe spectators who wish may come to the conference with their\u00a0laptop\u00a0(Mac, PC and Linus). A stand alone version of the N\u00f8\u00f8Museum will be distributed on USB stick, so that you can follow Yan Minh in the labyrinth of his virtual museum.
\nYann Minh<\/a> offers a long and fascinating two hours walk in his museum. The N\u00f8\u00f8Museum is not only a digital artwork, but also a\u00a0kind of digital Postman<\/em> Cheval\u2019s<\/em> Ideal Palace<\/em>\u00a0and an innovative and fun educational tool using an ancient memory enhancement method called \u00ab\u00a0method of Loci\u00a0\u00bb (Memory palace or Ars MemorativaP. Yann has been using it for 15 years successfully in art and engineering \u00a0high schools.
\nHis N\u00f8\u00f8Conference invites the audience to a journey back in time, from the origins of humanity \u00a0to our transhumanist future,\u00a0following the guiding thread of\u00a0the immaterial origins\u00a0of\u00a0life, to arrive at a provocative proposal of utopian cities of the future, connected, sustainable and dedicated to cybersex.
\nThe conference will be in 2 parts.\u00a0The first one will present the first version of the\u00a0N\u00f8\u00f8Museum\u00a0created in 2003 with the Unreal Tournament game engine, and will\u00a0focus\u00a0on sexual metaphors\u00a0in art and science fiction cinema. The second part,\u00a0with the Unity 2018 version of the\u00a0N\u00f8\u00f8Museum\u00a0will deal with history of cyber-sexuality and the proposition of\u00a0the utopian city of\u00a0Sextr\u00d8\u00d8pia.<\/p>\n

\nA duo with Germaine Kobo, \u00a0an artist from Marseille of Belgium and Congolese origins, and the artist from Togo Bella Lawson. They combine poetry, dance and music to take us in an initiatory trip through their origins, full of sensibility and subtlety.
