Qattan Foundation<\/strong>, and other local partners (Shababeek, Eltica, Al Mamal, etc\u2026). The biennale used to take place in different cities in Palestine: Ramallah, Jerusalem, Birzeit, Bethlehem.. and of course Gaza.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 8th edition of \/si:n\/ was to take place in 2024 but the unbearable situation makes it difficult to project in the future. But it was also impossible for us to give up the biennale, taking the risk that it end for good. With the Qattan Foundation, we therefor decided that it will take place, and <strong>forced into exile, it would be sheltered by our\u00a0<em>Festival Les Instants Vid\u00e9o<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inspired by the tri-continental, anti-imperialist solidarity movements of the 1960s and 80s, at the crossroads of militant, artistic and museological practices that created a very particular form of <strong>museum of solidarity, without walls, and more often than not, museums in exile<\/strong> (in support of the people of Chile, Nicaragua, South Africa and of course Palestine), we are today launching a call for solidarity to the artists we have had the pleasure of meeting along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The biennale will take place on <strong>October, 20 in Marseille Friche la Belle de Mai,<\/strong> made up of programmes by artists from Palestine and international artists. It will also make stops elsewhere in the world, in organisations that wishing to host part or all of the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:68px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Dear artist friends,<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have a film that resonates with the words above, if you wish to express your solidarity to the people of Palestine, you can offer your film (maximum 7\u2019) to be presented during the biennale \/si:n\/<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The deadline is very short: July, 5<br>The selection will be announced by the end of July.<br>Each work submitted must be either in French or with French subtitles (embedded or attached) or, in the worst case, accompanied by an English .srt subtitle file that we will translate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can send it to us by we transfer\u00a0at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:inscription@instantsvideo.com\">inscription@instantsvideo.com<\/a>   <br>with the following specifications: Title, year, lengh \/ Artist name, country + synopsis + a picture of the work<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Warm regards,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As you surely know, we co-created the video art and performance\u00a0biennale \/si:n\/\u00a0in Palestine in 2009, together with the A.M.
