Le morceau est le m\u00eame \u00e0 chaque fois \u2013 Pr\u00e9lude Op. 28 n\u00b0 2 de Chopin \u2013 mais lorsque l\u2019interpr\u00e8te change, l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation du morceau change ainsi que la perspective \u00e0 partir de laquelle le morceau et son interpr\u00e9tation sont vus. Le jeu ininterrompu et le plan unique capturent l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement en un seul instant, mais lorsque la cam\u00e9ra se d\u00e9place et que les deux personnes changent de place, le temps est partag\u00e9 en parts \u00e9gales. L\u2019interpr\u00e8te devient l\u2019auditeur et l\u2019auditeur devient l\u2019interpr\u00e8te. Dans l\u2019une des sc\u00e8nes cl\u00e9s du film\u00a0<em>Sonate d\u2019automne\u00a0<\/em>(1978) d\u2019Ingmar Bergman, la m\u00e8re et la fille jouent \u00e0 tour de r\u00f4le le m\u00eame pr\u00e9lude de Chopin. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un morceau que toutes deux connaissent bien, ce qui leur permet de s\u2019installer dans la position de l\u2019autre tout en l\u2019\u00e9coutant et en le regardant jouer. Une telle situation soul\u00e8ve des questions sur le sens de la r\u00e9ciprocit\u00e9, de la simultan\u00e9it\u00e9 et de la synesth\u00e9sie. Les r\u00f4les pourraient-ils se m\u00e9langer, passant du spectateur et de l\u2019auditeur \u00e0 l\u2019objet du regard et de l\u2019\u00e9coute ? En regardant l\u2019autre jouer, pouvez-vous sentir vos propres mains et doigts sur les touches ?<\/p>\n<p><em>During a single long shot, we see two people taking turns playing the piano and listening alternately. The piece is the same on both times \u2013 Prelude Op. 28 No. 2 by Chopin \u2013 but when the performer changes, the interpretation of the song changes along with the perspective from which the song and its performance are viewed. The uninterrupted playing and single shot capture the event in one temporal moment, but as the camera moves and two people change places, time is equally layered. The performer becomes the listener and the listener becomes the performer. In one of the key scenes of Ingmar Bergman\u2019s Autumn Sonata (1978), the mother and daughter take turns playing the very same Chopin\u2019s Prelude. It is a piece that both are familiar with, so they are able to settle into the position of the other as they listen and watch the other play. A situation like this raises questions about the sense of reciprocity, simultaneity and synaesthesia. Could the roles become mixed from viewer and listener to the object of the gaze and listening?
