Depuis septembre 2017, la Turquie a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de retirer de ses programmes scolaires, la th\u00e9orie de l\u2019Evolution des esp\u00e8ces. Mais cette d\u00e9rive est le propre des trois religions monoth\u00e9istes qui rejettent ces notions scientifiques. Depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es les mouvements religieux chr\u00e9tiens, et notamment le mouvement cr\u00e9ationniste, tr\u00e8s important aux Etats-Unis, oppose la Bible \u00e0 Darwin et nie l\u2019\u00e9volution au profit de la cr\u00e9ation. Dans certaines universit\u00e9s am\u00e9ricaines, une nouvelle notion, l\u2019Intelligent Design (Dessein intelligent) affirme que le monde est trop complexe pour ne pas avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 par un \u00eatre intelligent. Les cr\u00e9ationnistes mettent sur le m\u00eame plan la Gen\u00e8se et les d\u00e9couvertes scientifiques de Darwin, et tentent de donner une apparence scientifique \u00e0 la Gen\u00e8se, en rassemblant tous les faits, arch\u00e9ologiques, pal\u00e9ontologiques, qui peuvent accr\u00e9diter certains passages de la Bible, pour d\u00e9montrer que, selon eux, le texte de Darwin n\u2019est pas une th\u00e9orie scientifique, mais une th\u00e9orie philosophique.<\/p>\n<p><em>Video on Darwin\u2019s work \u00ab\u00a0On the Origin of Species by Natural Selection or The Laws of Transformation of Organized Beings\u00a0\u00bb (1866), which is part of a video series for a reflection on obscurantism. For many years, the creationist movement, very important in the United States, opposes the Bible to Darwin and denies the theory of evolution in favor of that of creation. In some American universities, a new concept, Intelligent Design, says that the world is too complex not to have been created by an intelligent being.
