Installation artistique qui utilise un jeu video pour explorer la m\u00e9moire de l\u2019immigration nord-africaine post-coloniale. Le spectateur y incarne un joueur parcourant un archipel m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en brumeux, ou se trouve un cimeti\u00e8re fictif d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux victimes de la guerre des noms concept du philosophe Quentin Mur qui d\u00e9signe l\u2019effacement colonial des lieux, identit\u00e9s et histoires. L\u2019exp\u00e9rience repose sur la toponymie : renommer un lieu devient un geste symbolique mat\u00e9rialis\u00e9 par l\u2019activation de tombes-po\u00e8mes, chacune repr\u00e9sentant un nom oubli\u00e9. En cliquant sur une st\u00e8le, le nom r\u00e9apparait et s\u2019illumine, transformant cette action ludique en acte de m\u00e9moire et de r\u00e9paration. Chaque st\u00e8le renvoie a un quartier d\u00e9truit, une rue marquante, un foyer de travailleurs, un bidonville ou une figure militante effac\u00e9e. Le paysage sonore – chants, fragments de langues nord-africaines, silences- compose une cartographie sensorielle. Au fil de l\u2019exploration, le cimeti\u00e8re se d\u00e9voile peu \u00e0 peu et devient un parcours de m\u00e9moire incarn\u00e9e. Le jeu propose ainsi une carte m\u00e9morielle o\u00f9 renommer les lieux restore symboliquement la pr\u00e9sence et les histoires des communaut\u00e9s nord-africaines immigr\u00e9es en France dans le contexte post-colonial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Art installation that uses a video game to explore the memory of post-colonial North African immigration. The spectator plays a player travelling through a foggy Mediterranean archipelago, where there is a fictional cemetery dedicated to the victims of the war of the concept names of the philosopher Quentin Mur which designates the colonial erasure of places, identities and stories. The experience is based on toponymy: renaming a place becomes a symbolic gesture materialized by the activation of tomb-poems, each representing a forgotten name. By clicking on a stele, the name reappears and illuminates, transforming this playful action into an act of memory and repair. Each stele refers to a destroyed neighborhood, a striking street, a workers\u2019 home, a slum or an erased militant figure. The soundscape – songs, fragments of North African languages, silences – composes a sensory cartography. Over the course of exploration, the cemetery gradually unfolds and becomes a journey of embodied memory.
