Depuis, il tente par tous les moyens de la r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer. La vid\u00e9o prend la forme d&rsquo;un voyage errant \u00e0 travers Newport, entre les profondeurs d&rsquo;une d\u00e9charge et les m\u00e9andres d&rsquo;Internet, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 pens\u00e9es et d\u00e9chets se confondent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Inspired by real events, this video tells the story of a Welsh computer engineer who, twelve years ago, accidentally threw away a hard drive containing the private key to 8 000 Bitcoins (worth nearly a billion dollars today). Since then, he has been trying by all possible means to recover it. Dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e de l&rsquo;ENSAPC en 2020, son travail a depuis \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 au MAC VAL (Vitry-sur-Seine), au Palais de Tokyo (Paris), \u00e0 l&rsquo;Art &amp; Design Center (Fuzhou, Chine), au Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Expositions des Beaux-Arts de Paris, au 66e Salon de Montrouge, \u00e0 la Biennale de Mulhouse et \u00e0 La Graineterie (Houilles) en 2023 pour sa premi\u00e8re exposition personnelle. Elle a re\u00e7u une bourse de recherche post-master en intelligence artificielle \u00e0 l&rsquo;ENSP d&rsquo;Arles pour l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e 2024-2025, le prix Marfa en 2023 et le prix MAD en 2022. Ses performances-conf\u00e9rences ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans des festivals de performance tels que la Biennale Nemo (Gentilly) et Les Urbaines (Lausanne, Suisse), ainsi que dans plusieurs \u00e9coles d&rsquo;art en France (Beaux-Arts de Paris, Nantes, Limoges, Arles, Rouen, etc.). L&rsquo;artiste a effectu\u00e9 des r\u00e9sidences de recherche \u00e0 Fieldwork Marfa (USA), \u00e0 la Maison des Arts de Malakoff, au Campus Condorcet, \u00e0 l&rsquo;Abbaye de Maubuisson, aux Beaux-Arts de Limoges et \u00e0 l&rsquo;association AWARE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Born in 1997, <strong>Morgane Baffier <\/strong>lives and works in Paris. She graduated from ENSAPC in 2020, and her work has since been presented at MAC VAL (Vitry-sur-Seine), the Palais de Tokyo (Paris), the Art &amp; Design Center (Fuzhou, China), the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Expositions at Beaux-Arts de Paris, the 66th Salon de Montrouge, the Mulhouse Biennale, and at La Graineterie (Houilles) in 2023 for her first solo show. She was awarded a post-master research grant on artificial intelligence at ENSP in Arles for 2024-2025, the Marfa Prize in 2023, and the MAD Prize in 2022. Her lecture-performances have been presented at performance festivals such as the Biennale Nemo (Gentilly) and Les Urbaines (Lausanne, Switzerland), as well as in several art schools across France (Beaux-Arts de Paris, Nantes, Limoges, Arles, Rouen, etc.).
