Elle \u00e9tudie l\u2019Histoire puis l\u2019anthropologie \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole des Hautes \u00c9tudes en Sciences Sociales. En 2017, elle part au Liban pour travailler dans un centre communautaire pour travailleuses domestiques migrantes, o\u00f9 elle utilise la photographie et le film comme outil de m\u00e9diation et de cr\u00e9ation participative. Elle se passionne alors pour le cin\u00e9ma documentaire et int\u00e8gre en 2018 le projet Artist@Work aux Ateliers Varan. Le langage, la m\u00e9moire et sa perte sont au centre de son premier film, Entre nous les mots, qu\u2019elle cor\u00e9alise avec Hanga Th\u00f2t et Marie-No\u00eblle Battaglia. Le film a notamment \u00e9t\u00e9 projet\u00e9 au Festival International de Ferrara, en Italie. Par la suite, elle int\u00e8gre le master de r\u00e9alisation de documentaire de cr\u00e9ation de l\u2019\u00c9cole de Lussas. Elle y exp\u00e9rimente les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s argentiques, une pratique qu\u2019elle prolonge en rejoignant le Laboratoire L\u2019argent \u00e0 Marseille. Aujourd&rsquo;hui, elle continue \u00e0 explorer son approche cin\u00e9matographique et d\u00e9veloppe une pratique p\u00e9dagogique en intervenant r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement aupr\u00e8s de publics scolaires et adultes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Born in 1993, <strong>Margaux Sirven<\/strong> is a documentary filmmaker. She studied History and Then Anthropology at the School of Advanced Studies in Social Sciences. In 2017, she moved to Lebanon to work in a community centre for migrant domestic workers, where she used photography and film as a tool for mediation and participatory creation. She then became passionate about documentary cinema and joined the Artist@Work project at Ateliers Varan in 2018. Language, memory and her loss are at the center of her first film, Entre nous les mots, which she co-directs with Hanga Th\u00f2t and Marie-No\u00eblle Battaglia. The film was screened at the Ferrara International Festival in Italy. Subsequently, she joined the master\u2019s degree in creative documentary production at the \u00c9cole de Lussas. She experiments with silver processes, a practice she extends by joining the Laboratoire L\u2019argent in Marseille.
