Il invite \u00e0 un voyage presque utopique \u00e0 travers ces lieux de marginalit\u00e9 sexuelle et retrace l&rsquo;histoire du cruising et du d\u00e9sir homosexuel dans la ville. Ce film a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 dans le cadre de \u00ab&nbsp;Memorias Sinverg\u00fcenzas. Re-apropi\u00e1ndonos de nuestra memoria queer&nbsp;\u00bb, un atelier d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9utilisation cr\u00e9ative de documents d&rsquo;archives pour faire revivre la m\u00e9moire de la communaut\u00e9 LGBTQ+ au Pays basque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Starting from archival footage of the San Francisco neighborhood of Bilbao, its streets and nightlife, and clubs and discos that no longer exist, this filmic essay explores the idea of a queer space, inviting a somewhat utopian journey through the places of sexual dissidence and outlining a history of cruising and gay desire in the city. The film was made in the framework of &lsquo;Memorias Sinverg\u00fcenzas. Il a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 la r\u00e9alisation \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9cole publique de cin\u00e9ma \u00ab\u00a0Scuola Volont\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb de Rome (2019-2022) et a r\u00e9cemment obtenu un master en programmation cin\u00e9matographique \u00e0 l&rsquo;El\u00edas Querejeta Zine Eskola de Saint-S\u00e9bastien (Pays basque, Espagne). Ses \u0153uvres, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans de nombreux festivals internationaux, explorent les th\u00e8mes de la sexualit\u00e9, du passage \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge adulte, de la masculinit\u00e9 et de la m\u00e9moire, \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re entre documentaire et fiction. Son court-m\u00e9trage \u00ab\u00a0La moto\u00a0\u00bb (2025) a \u00e9t\u00e9 projet\u00e9 en avant-premi\u00e8re mondiale lors de la 82e Mostra de Venise, dans la section courts-m\u00e9trages de la Semaine internationale de la critique. Il a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00c9cole d&rsquo;\u00e9t\u00e9 de documentaire du Festival de Locarno ainsi qu&rsquo;\u00e0 de nombreux ateliers et laboratoires de cin\u00e9ma. Il a travaill\u00e9 comme assistant r\u00e9alisateur et a occup\u00e9 divers postes dans des festivals et \u00e9v\u00e9nements cin\u00e9matographiques, notamment celui de chroniqueur pour le journal officiel du Festival international du film de San Sebasti\u00e1n (2024). En tant que commissaire d&rsquo;exposition ind\u00e9pendant, il a collabor\u00e9 avec des institutions telles que la Filmoteca de Catalunya et le Sicilia Queer Filmfest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Matteo Giampetruzzi <\/strong>(Italy, 1999) is an emerging filmmaker and film curator. He studied Film Directing at the public film school &lsquo;Scuola Volont\u00e9&rsquo; in Rome (2019\u20132022), and recently completed a Master&rsquo;s degree in Film Curating at the El\u00edas Querejeta Zine Eskola in San Sebasti\u00e1n (Basque Country, Spain). His works, screened at numerous international film festivals, focus on themes related to sexuality, coming of age, masculinity, and memory, and move between documentary and fiction. His latest short film &lsquo;La moto&rsquo; (2025) had its world premiere at the 82nd Venice Film Festival, in the Short Film Competition of the International Critics&rsquo; Week. He took part in the Documentary Summer School of the Locarno Festival and in numerous film workshops and labs. He has worked as an assistant director and held various positions at film festivals and events, including serving as a columnist for the official newspaper of the San Sebasti\u00e1n International Film Festival (2024).
