Leur rituel culmine avec la destruction d&rsquo;un syst\u00e8me de barrages hydro\u00e9lectriques \u00e0 la source du M\u00e9kong, qui a eu des effets n\u00e9fastes sur les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes fragiles travers\u00e9s par le fleuve. Cette destruction climatique et cosmique est une critique complexe de l&rsquo;industrialisation contemporaine et une revendication symbolique des trajectoires de modernisation qui ont mal tourn\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Elysium without Shores<em> is a kaleidoscope of digital divination and time travel. It imagines a futuristic \u201cm\u00faa b\u00f3ng r\u1ed7i\u201d ritual on an island in the C\u1ed5 Chi\u00ean River in the Mekong Delta, at the crossroads of the Greco-Roman and Funan \u00d3c Eo civilizations. Their ritual culminates in the destruction of a hydroelectric dam system at the Mekong\u2019s source, which has had detrimental effects on the fragile ecosystems through which the river flows.
