La cam\u00e9ra zoome sur les mains de ces femmes qui travaillent, r\u00e9v\u00e9lant les conditions difficiles de leur quotidien. Tout en d\u00e9cortiquant des cacahu\u00e8tes, les femmes discutent du passage des hommes et de la pr\u00e9sence de la cin\u00e9aste. Cette br\u00e8ve rencontre interroge la mani\u00e8re dont la cam\u00e9ra pourrait \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e par les femmes, devant et derri\u00e8re la cam\u00e9ra, pour \u00e9tablir des liens entre elles sans partager un langage commun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>This small cinematic exchange offers a glimpse into a women&rsquo;s collective based in Agadez (Niger). The camera zooms in on womens working hands revealing the harsh conditions of their daily lives. While separating peanuts from their shells, the women talk to each other about the men passing by and the film maker being present.The short encounter questions how the camera could be used by both the women in front and behind the camera to find a way of getting in contact with each other while not sharing a common language.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/freight.cargo.site\/w\/1440\/h\/1080\/q\/75\/i\/O2020298759777016959699966061873\/LMQT_1.7.3-kopie.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eva van Tongeren<\/strong> (Amersfoort, 1990) est une artiste visuelle travaillant principalement dans le cin\u00e9ma et la vid\u00e9o. Dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e de la LUCA School of Arts, elle dirige depuis 2016 le festival Visite, un projet m\u00ealant documentaire exp\u00e9rimental et cin\u00e9ma politique. Elle a r\u00e9cemment rejoint l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe curatoriale de Courtisane et assure la distribution des productions d&rsquo;Auguste Orts. Dans sa pratique artistique, elle int\u00e8gre ses int\u00e9r\u00eats sociaux et anthropologiques \u00e0 des r\u00e9cits personnels aux th\u00e9matiques universelles. Si ses \u0153uvres cin\u00e9matographiques varient par leurs formes, elles se connectent autour du th\u00e8me commun de la bienveillance. Ses films et installations ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;IFFR, \u00e0 la Videonale, \u00e0 Ann Arbor, \u00e0 l&rsquo;EMAF, \u00e0 Oberhausen, \u00e0 Courtisane, \u00e0 la Kunsthalle d&rsquo;Osnabr\u00fcck, \u00e0 Images Toronto, etc. En tant que commissaire d&rsquo;exposition, Eva van Tongeren s&rsquo;int\u00e9resse aux politiques corporelles, aux perspectives f\u00e9ministes, aux questions de genre, au plaisir, au sexe, \u00e0 la violence, \u00e0 la transgression et \u00e0 l&rsquo;activisme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Eva van Tongeren<\/strong> (Amersfoort, 1990) is a visual artist working mainly in film and video. She is a LUCA School of Arts graduate and, since 2016, runs Visite Festival, a collage of experimental documentary and political cinema. She most recently joined the curatorial team of Courtisane and handles the distribution of Auguste Orts productions. <\/em>In her own artistic practice, she incorporates her social and anthropological interests into personal stories with universal themes. While her cinematic works vary in form, they connect through the shared subject of caring.
