Cette courte enqu\u00eate sur le d\u00e9cor \u00e0 la fois simple et symbolique se d\u00e9ploie comme une m\u00e9taphore qui donne une voix \u00e0 certaines de nos pr\u00e9occupations existentielles les plus basiques mais inanim\u00e9es. Nous attendons tous que le chat meure, ou non.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>An enclosure of six windows, an impossible place, a latent space: elaborated through different tools, the film starts from the premise of the waiting room. This short inquiry into the straightforward yet symbolic set-up unfolds as a metaphor that gives sound to some of the most basic yet lifeless of our existential concerns. We\u2019re all waiting for the cat to die, or not.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/baptistgheeraert.com\/files\/dimgs\/rsz_h600_66_350.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Baptist Gheeraert<\/strong> (1989) est un artiste visuel n\u00e9 en Belgique. Apr\u00e8s des \u00e9tudes en criminologie, il a fr\u00e9quent\u00e9 l&rsquo;Acad\u00e9mie royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles. Sa pratique artistique comprend une gamme de m\u00e9dias, y compris la vid\u00e9o, la photographie, la sculpture, la mod\u00e9lisation 3D et l&rsquo;intelligence artificielle.&nbsp;<strong>Iulia-Dana Pu\u0219ca\u0219u<\/strong> (1999) est une artiste n\u00e9e en Roumanie, travaillant avec des supports allant de l&rsquo;\u00e9criture et du dessin \u00e0 l&rsquo;audio-vid\u00e9o et aux nouveaux m\u00e9dias. Son travail combine la recherche th\u00e9orique avec une approche visuelle particuli\u00e8re, s&rsquo;inspirant g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de concepts et de m\u00e9thodes en philosophie ainsi que de paradigmes de communication dans un complexe socio-culturel hautement m\u00e9diatis\u00e9. Pu\u0219ca\u0219u est dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e d&rsquo;un BA en beaux-arts et d&rsquo;une MA en philosophie, et est actuellement candidate au doctorat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Baptist Gheeraert<\/strong> (1989) is a visual artist born in Belgium. After studying Criminology, he attended the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Brussels. His artistic practice includes a range of media including video, photography, sculpture, 3D-modeling and artificial intelligence.<\/em> <em><strong>Iulia-Dana Pu\u0219ca\u0219u<\/strong> (1999) is an artist born in Romania working within mediums ranging from writing and drawing to audio-video and new media. Her work combines theoretical research with a particular visual approach, typically drawing on concepts and methods in philosophy and paradigms of communication in a highly mediated socio-cultural complex.
