See and Don’t See is an intriguing and thought-provoking experimental documentary that delves into the labyrinths of memory, identity and the malleability of our memories. Inspired by a shocking childhood memory related to the devastating hurricane Kenna in Puerto Vallarta, the filmmaker embarks on a journey to unravel the blurred boundary between subjective experience and objective reality. In an innovative approach, he projected the captured images onto his wall and recorded them with her IPhone, intentionally reducing the quality, as part of an experiment to explore new forms of visual and narrative expression. This process added an additional layer of depth and perspective to the visual narrative, challenging established conventions and enriching the cinematic experience.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
