Marcheurs<\/em> est un projet d’animation sur mon s\u00e9jour \u00e0 la Maison des Auteurs et \u00e0 BilbaoArte Fundazioa en tant qu’artiste en r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 Irudika. L’accent est mis sur le processus, l’espace et la mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9 en tant que partie intrins\u00e8que du travail. Une s\u00e9rie de personnages, bas\u00e9s sur des exp\u00e9riences personnelles, traversent l’\u00e9cran de mani\u00e8re s\u00e9quentielle et fugace, rendant compte de mon propre passage dans la r\u00e9sidence. J’ai travaill\u00e9 avec 500 feuilles A5 pour r\u00e9aliser une vid\u00e9o d’animation d’une dur\u00e9e de 41,6 secondes ; en incorporant les marges du papier, le registre d’animation et les \u00ab coulisses \u00bb o\u00f9 les photographies ont \u00e9t\u00e9 prises ; en incluant ce qui est habituellement laiss\u00e9 de c\u00f4t\u00e9 dans l’animation, en donnant une place centrale \u00e0 la mati\u00e8re et en mettant en valeur les espaces des diff\u00e9rentes vitrines et murs de Bilbao et d’Angoul\u00eame, comme une histoire parall\u00e8le qui accompagne et donne de la force \u00e0 l’avanc\u00e9e des dessins.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Walkers is an animation project about my stay in Maison des Auteurs and BilbaoArte Fundazioa as an artist in residence at Irudika. Focusing on the process, space and materiality as an intrinsic part of the work. A series of characters, based on personal experiences, sequentially and fleetingly cross the screen, giving an account of my own transit through the residence. I worked with 500 A5 sheets to make an animated video of 41.6 seconds in length; incorporating the margins of the paper, the animation register and the ‘behind the scenes’ where the photographs were taken; including what is usually left aside in animation, giving a central place to matter and highlighting the spaces of different shop windows and walls in Bilbao and Angoul\u00eame, as a parallel story that accompanies and gives strength to the progress of the drawings.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2022, il \u00e9tait artiste en r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 IRUDIKA \u00e0 La Maison des Auteurs [France] et \u00e0 la Fundaci\u00f3n Bilbao Arte [Bilbao]. \u00c0 la fin de l’ann\u00e9e, il commencera un Master of Arts \u00e0 SUR Escuela [UC3M, Madrid].En 2020, il est s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 pour cr\u00e9er un projet d\u2019exposition \u00e0 la R\u00e9sidence Ctibor. En 2019, il a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 la R\u00e9sidence Casa Intermitente (Arg) et la R\u00e9sidence TACEC. En 2018, il \u00e9tait artiste en r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 INVE [Chili]. Cette ann\u00e9e-l\u00e0, il re\u00e7oit un prix de la FNA (Arg) et le premier prix de l’Exposition provinciale du jeune art. Depuis 2012, il a expos\u00e9 ses \u0153uvres dans de nombreuses expositions collectives et individuelles dans des lieux tels que : Proyector’ 20 [Madrid], ALC videoart festival [Alicante], BAFICI 2015, Ita\u00fa Visual Arts Prize 2017 et 2019, Festifreak, Moving Image Biennial, Young Art. In 2019 he made the Casa Intermitente’s Residency (Arg) and the TACEC Residency. In 2018 was Artist-In-Residency at INVE [Chile]. That year he received an award from FNA (Arg) and the first prize of the Provincial Exhibition of Young Art. Since 2012 he has exposed his artworks in many collective and individual exhibitions in places as: Proyector’ 20 [Madrid], ALC videoart festival [Alicante], BAFICI 2015, Ita\u00fa Visual Arts Prize 2017 and 2019, Festifreak, Moving Image Biennial, Young Art Biennial 2017 and 2019, Artists\u2019 Cinema 2019, Turku Animated Film Festival [Finland], FIVA, Fantoche Festival [Switzerland], Video Babel [Peru], Cut Out Mexico].<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
