Le titre de cette vid\u00e9o, Wandel, traduit par CHANGEMENT, peut avoir au moins deux significations possibles. La premi\u00e8re concerne le changement climatique, la seconde, concerne les changements sociaux et culturels que nous devons entreprendre pour \u00e9viter une crise environnementale mondiale, caus\u00e9e par le changement climatique. Le po\u00e8te autrichien Erich Fried a \u00e9crit en 1981 : \u00ab\u00a0Wer will, dass die Welt bleibt, wie sie ist, will nicht, dass sie bleibt.\u00a0\u00bb (Ceux qui veulent que le monde reste en l’\u00e9tat, comme il est, ne veulent pas qu’il le reste). Cette d\u00e9claration est \u00e9crite \u00e0 mes pieds sur une plan\u00e8te d’asphalte infinie, et je me tiens l\u00e0 avec ma bicyclette. Lorsque je commence \u00e0 p\u00e9daler, la plan\u00e8te se met en mouvement et, tout en tournant, une transformation s’op\u00e8re. Le monde est revitalis\u00e9, la plan\u00e8te asphalt\u00e9e recommence \u00e0 fleurir !<\/p>\n

The title of this video WANDEL, translated CHANGE, may have at least two possible meanings. The first concerns climate change, the second and connected are the social and cultural changes we have to undertake to avoid a global environmental crisis, caused by climate change. The Austrian poet Erich Fried wrote in 1981: \u201eWer will, dass die Welt bleibt, wie sie ist, will nicht, dass sie bleibt.\u201c (Those who want the world to remain as it is, do not want it to remain). This is a timeless statement. It is written at my feet on an infinite asphalt planet, and I stand there with my bicycle. When I begin cycling, the planet starts moving itself and while rotating a transformation is taking place. One sees animated images emerge. They suggest alternative energies and evolve into breathing life forms. The world is revitalized, the asphalted planet begins blooming again!<\/em><\/p>\n

Maria Korporal<\/strong> est n\u00e9e en 1962 \u00e0 Sliedrecht, aux Pays-Bas. Elle a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 le graphisme et la peinture \u00e0 l’Acad\u00e9mie des Beaux-Arts St. Joost de Breda. Au cours de ses \u00e9tudes, elle a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler avec la photographie et a obtenu son dipl\u00f4me avec, entre autres, une installation vid\u00e9o. Apr\u00e8s ses \u00e9tudes, en 1986, elle s’installe en Italie, o\u00f9 elle retourne \u00e0 la peinture. En 1989, elle cofonde la maison d’\u00e9dition italienne Apeiron Editori, dont elle dirige la production et la conception du livre. Dans cet environnement, elle s’est impliqu\u00e9e dans l’utilisation des ordinateurs et a \u00e9galement commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 appliquer les techniques num\u00e9riques dans son travail artistique. Depuis 1998, elle se consacre \u00e0 utiliser les arts m\u00e9diatiques pour son expression. Jusqu\u2019en 2013, elle a v\u00e9cu en Italie \u00e0 Sant\u2019Oreste (RM). Depuis 2014, elle vit et travaille \u00e0 Berlin. La production artistique de Maria Korporal comprend l\u2019art vid\u00e9o, les installations, l\u2019art interactif et les performances. Elle est membre actif du Verein Berliner K\u00fcnstler (Association des artistes berlinois) et du groupe d’artistes Group Global 3000 – Art et autres durabilit\u00e9s \u00e0 Berlin. Maria Korporal was born 1962 in Sliedrecht, the Netherlands. She studied graphics and painting at the St. Joost Academy of Fine Arts in Breda. During her studies she began working with photography and she graduated with, among other things, a video installation. After her studies, in 1986, she moved to Italy, where she returned to painting. In 1989 she co-founded the Italian publishing house Apeiron Editori, directing the production and book design. In this environment she became involved with the use of computers, and she began applying digital techniques also in her art work. Since 1998 she has dedicated herself to using the new media arts for her expression. Until 2013 she lived in Italy in Sant\u2019Oreste (RM). Since 2014 she has lived and worked in Berlin. Maria Korporal\u2019s artistic production includes video art, installations, interactive art and performances. She is an active member of the Verein Berliner K\u00fcnstler (Association of Berlin Artists) and of the artists’ group Group Global 3000 – Art and other sustainabilities in Berlin. Her works have been shown and awarded in various exhibitions all over the world.
