Elles s\u2019appellent et se r\u00e9pondent. Les voiles de l\u2019\u00e9mulsion se font \u00e9cho et dansent ensemble. Les images sont accompagn\u00e9es d\u2019un texte po\u00e9tique qui nous immerge dans des souvenirs personnels et intimes.<\/p>\n<p><em>This film is made up of two photographic series that dialogue around a reflection on the body and death. They call and answer each other. The veils of the emulsion echo and dance together. Je pratique la photographie argentique depuis l&rsquo;enfance mais c&rsquo;est en 2016 que je commence \u00e0 explorer son potentiel cr\u00e9atif gr\u00e2ce au polaroid dans un premier temps, puis gr\u00e2ce au film. En 2019, j&rsquo;ouvre mon horizon en int\u00e9grant l&rsquo;image en mouvement dans mes cr\u00e9ations, toujours gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la pellicule argentique. En 2021, je d\u00e9cide de me consacrer professionnellement \u00e0 ma pratique artistique. Cette ann\u00e9e-l\u00e0, je suis s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9e par Vid\u00e9ographe pour b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019un soutien \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation du po\u00e8me vid\u00e9o Opaline. En 2022, je suis finaliste pour le Prix Nouvelles \u00e9critures de la photographie environnementale d\u00e9cern\u00e9 par le Festival Photo La Gacilly et Fisheye Magazine avec la s\u00e9rie Exposome. Toujours en 2022, la Table de concertation interr\u00e9gionale en cin\u00e9ma m&rsquo;accorde une aide pour la cr\u00e9ation du documentaire Maison de paille, qui est actuellement en cours de r\u00e9alisation gr\u00e2ce au soutien du Conseil des Arts du Canada. Mes films ont notamment \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s au Mus\u00e9e national des beaux-arts du Qu\u00e9bec (Canada), aux Rendez-Vous Qu\u00e9bec Cin\u00e9ma (Canada), au festival Kinoskop (Serbie), au Festival Miden (Gr\u00e8ce) et au Festival Oodaaq (France).\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><em>Alix Galdin : Self-taught, I am a French-Canadian artist photographer and filmmaker based in Saguenay, Quebec. I&rsquo;ve been photographing since childhood, but it was in 2016 that I began experimenting with the possibilities of silver photography, first with polaroid, then with film. In 2019, I broaden my horizons by integrating the moving image into my creations, still using silver film. In 2021, I decide to devote myself professionally to my artistic practice. That year, I am selected by Vid\u00e9ographe to benefit from a support for the realization of the video poem Opaline. In 2022, I was a finalist for the Nouvelles \u00e9critures de la photographie environnementale prize awarded by the Festival Photo La Gacilly and Fisheye Magazine. Also in 2022, the Table de concertation interr\u00e9gionale en cin\u00e9ma gives me a support for the creation of the documentary Maison de paille, which is currently in production thanks to support from the Canada Council for the Arts.
