Au moyen de citations choisies dans des films apocalyptiques, nous les observons \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents stades de d\u00e9sespoir, de solitude et de maladie, refl\u00e9tant ainsi l\u2019\u00e9tat pand\u00e9mique de la situation.<\/p>\n<p><em>Several bizarre creatures reminiscent of human beings find themselves huddled away in squalid basements, in safe distance from the outside world. Sa pratique de fragmentation, de destruction et de reconstitution de figures, de sujets et de strat\u00e9gies bien connus des m\u00e9dias de masse ouvre non seulement un r\u00e9seau de nouvelles interpr\u00e9tations et commentaires critiques, mais d\u00e9finit \u00e9galement \u00e0 nouveau la relation entre les m\u00e9dias de masse et le spectateur. In his work he has developed a singular position, expanding the possibilities for a critical reception of cinema and television. His practice of fragmentation, destruction, and reconstitution of well-known figures, topics, and strategies of the mass media opens up not only a network of new interpretations and critical commentaries, but also defines the relationship of mass media and viewer anew. Originally rooted in an experimental film context, Bj\u00f8rn Melhus\u2019s work has been shown and awarded at numerous international film festivals. He has held screenings at Tate Modern and the LUX in London, the Museum of Modern Art (MediaScope) in New York, and the Centre Pompidou in Paris, amongst others.
