Toktam Tajafari Sahebi : I borrow from the techniques of engraving, painting, cartooning and animated cinema, means that allow me to create animated images and moving pictures, with a dimension that is sometimes fantastic, often dreamlike and poetic. Often my work tells of my quest for identity as a woman who has encountered different cultures. My research on mythology, dreams, literature, poetry and the relationship between cultural differences feed my work. In my artistic approach, the animated image seems important to me to express the notion of space-time. Each work is a poetic note, as if taken from the diary of my travels. My artistic work accompanies and illustrates my transition to the age of reason with all that is sweet and brutal.<\/em><\/p>\n
