L\u2019installation num\u00e9rique Infinity of Waste questionne le devenir des d\u00e9charges sauvages gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une projection vid\u00e9o infinie et g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9e en temps r\u00e9el cr\u00e9ant une zone cribl\u00e9e de d\u00e9chets \u00e9pars. Celle-ci par sa narration sonore et po\u00e9tique (\u00e9galement g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9e al\u00e9atoirement) raconte l\u2019histoire suivante :\u00a0\u201cDans un futur lointain, un fonctionnaire anonyme fait office de gardien des d\u00e9chets. Il va les regrouper, les trier ou les disperser dans une logique tr\u00e8s personnelle. Son approche minutieuse et sensible, mettra en lumi\u00e8re l\u2019aspect po\u00e9tique de ces capsules temporelles non voulues.\u201d\u00a0La pi\u00e8ce pose donc la question suivante : \u201ccomment seront per\u00e7us ces d\u00e9charges sauvages dans mille ans\u00a0 ?\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

The digital installation<\/em> Infinity of waste questions the future of wild dumps thanks to an infinite video projection generated in real time creating a zone riddled with scattered waste. This one by its sound and poetic narration (also randomly generated) tells the following story : \u00ab\u00a0In a distant future, an anonymous functionary acts as a guardian of waste. He will group them, sort them or disperse them in a very personal logic. His meticulous and sensitive approach will highlight the poetic aspect of these unwanted time capsules.\u00a0\u00bb The piece therefore asks the following question: How will these wild dumps be perceived in a thousand years ?<\/em><\/p>\n

OKZK<\/strong> est un projet form\u00e9 par un bin\u00f4me d’artistes compos\u00e9 de Nelson Chouissa <\/strong>et Eloi Jacquelin<\/strong> (Beaux Arts de Nantes et Angers). OKZK questionne le lieu \u00e0 l’abandon, la ruine, et leurs probl\u00e9matiques \u00e9cologiques. En explorant les d\u00e9charges sauvages, les friches industrielles, et en se promenant dans des for\u00eats de plantes invasives, ils d\u00e9veloppent un regard critique et po\u00e9tique sur un pr\u00e9sent marqu\u00e9 par le vide ou la saturation. Ils cr\u00e9ent des installations num\u00e9riques utilisant photographie, sculpture, dessin, son et vid\u00e9o. Leur approche m\u00ealant exp\u00e9rimentation de terrain, r\u00e9cit et utilisation d’algorithmes cr\u00e9ent un univers empreint d’une science-fiction sombre et onirique. Leurs pi\u00e8ces ont \u00e9t\u00e9 montr\u00e9es lors d’expositions personnelles telles que \u00abEt si la brume, en seul t\u00e9moin, pr\u00e9c\u00e9dait un m\u00e9canisme \u00e9ternel ?\u00bb. En 2023 OKZK expose aux Beaux Arts d’Angers, \u00e0 l’ENSA Marseille et lors de l’ISEA \u00e0 Paris. OKZK est soutenu par la DRAC Pays de la Loire et par le minist\u00e8re de la Culture.<\/p>\n

OKZK is a project created in 2016 and formed by a duo of artists composed by Nelson Chouissa and Eloi Jacquelin (School of Fine Arts of Nantes and Angers). OKZK interrogates the abandoned places, the ruins, and their ecological problems. By exploring wild dumps, industrial wastelands, and walking through forests of invasive plants, they develop a critical and poetic vision of a present marked by emptiness and saturation. They create digital installations using photography, sculpture, drawing, sound and video. Their approach combines experimentation, narratives, and the use of algorithms to create a universe imbued with a dark and oneiric science fiction. Their pieces have been shown in solo exhibitions such as \u00abEt si, des dalles de b\u00e9tons, s\u2019\u00e9levait le spectre d\u2019une ann\u00e9e z\u00e9ro ?\u00bb or \u00abEt si la brume, en seul t\u00e9moin, pr\u00e9c\u00e9dait un m\u00e9canisme \u00e9ternel ?\u00bb. In 2023, OKZK will exhibit at La Th\u00e9orie des Espaces Courbes in Voiron, at the school of fine Art of Angers (TALM) and at the school of architecture of Marseille (ENSA). OKZK is supported by the DRAC Pays de la Loire (Dicam 2022) and by the Ministry of Culture (Programme Mondes nouveaux).<\/p>\n
