Selon les r\u00e8gles de la Science : Rien ne peut tenter d’\u00eatre, sauf en tentant d’exclure quelque chose d’autre \u00ab Je veux \u00eatre pigeon. A video-zine by Federico Lamas. A piece of bread defends its existence and refuses to be a condemned. It believe in continuity of all things: everything is a vibration of everything. As Science rules: Nothing can attempt to be, except by attempting to exclude something else \u201cI want to be pigeon. Federico Lamas<\/strong> (Buenos Aires, 1979) est un artiste visuel ind\u00e9pendant (designer, cin\u00e9aste, illustrateur et VJ). Ses \u0153uvres vont de vid\u00e9os exp\u00e9rimentales, livres, zines, sets de VJ, affiches, animations, pochettes d’albums, installations, clips musicaux ou courts m\u00e9trages. Dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e en Image et Sound Designer par l’Universit\u00e9 de Buenos Aires.\u00a0Ses r\u00e9sidences phares sont : Hanovre (Up and Coming), S\u00e3o Paulo (Videobrasil), M\u00e9xico DF (Pasag\u00fcero et V\u00e9rtigo Galer\u00eda), Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Galerie Kiosko) et Qu\u00e9bec (galerie La Bande Vid\u00e9o).\u00a0L’un de ses derniers projets est un op\u00e9ra exp\u00e9rimental avec plusieurs installations vid\u00e9o bas\u00e9 sur \u00ab\u00a0The Raven\u00a0\u00bb de Poe et compos\u00e9 par Toshio Hosokawa, au Teatro Col\u00f3n de Buenos Aires.\u00a0Il a un projet en cours depuis 2009 appel\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Visi\u00f3n Infernal\u00a0\u00bb\/\u00a0\u00bbHellish Vision\u00a0\u00bb, o\u00f9 une visionneuse rouge (la visionneuse infernale) (illustration et animations) r\u00e9v\u00e8le des secrets cach\u00e9s. Avec ce projet, vous pouvez trouver des livres, des zines, des tirages, des VJsets, des installations et des expositions distribu\u00e9s dans le monde entier.\u00a0En 2019, une nouvelle exposition solo a \u00e9t\u00e9 ouverte \u00e0 La Bande Video, Qu\u00e9bec. Il a \u00e9galement particip\u00e9 pour la 5e fois \u00e0 la Biennale Videobrasil \u00e0 Sao Paulo (2 \u00e9ditions) et a \u00e9galement lanc\u00e9 une nouvelle publication ainsi qu’une exposition vid\u00e9o \u00e0 Mexique et S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n

Federico Lamas (Buenos Aires, 1979). He is a freelance Visual Artist (designer, filmmaker, illustrator and VJ). His works range from experimental videos, books, zines, VJ sets, posters, animation, album covers, installations, music clips or short films. Image and Sound Designer degree by Buenos Aires University. His highlight residences are: Hannover (Up and Coming), S\u00e3o Paulo (Videobrasil) , M\u00e9xico DF (Pasag\u00fcero and V\u00e9rtigo Galer\u00eda), Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Kiosko Gallery) and Qu\u00e9bec City (La Bande video gallery).\u00a0One of his last project was as regi\u00e9 for an experimental opera full of video-installation scenes based on \u201cThe Raven\u201d by Poe and composed by Toshio Hosokawa, at Teatro Col\u00f3n de Buenos Aires. He has an on going project since 2009 called \u00ab\u00a0Visi\u00f3n Infernal\u00a0\u00bb\/\u00a0\u00bbHellish Vision\u00a0\u00bb, where illustration and animations can be reveal hidden secrets with a red viewer (the hellish viewer). With this project you can find books, zines, prints, VJsets, installations and exhibitions distributed all around the world. During 2019, a new solo show was open at La Bande Video, Quebec City, also he took part for 5th time of the Videobrasil Bienal in Sao Paulo (he won in 2 editions) and also launch an new publication together with a video exhibition in Mexico and S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/em><\/p>\n
