This film documents the encounters of an astronaut on Essex Road. Walking down the street or standing behind a large shop window, the astronaut appears to be a test of tolerance and openness to the unusual, the unfamiliar and the unexpected. Passers-by, attracted and disconcerted by this strange spectacle, become participants in this brief encounter.
