9pm: Readings / Stories / Screenings An evening dedicated to the relationships between Art and Work, special guest the artist Giney Ayme. The event will beginning with a conversation between Marc Mercier (curator and film director) and Giney Ayme (video and visual artist, performer, musician), and a screening with a focus on the place of the working gestures in his work. The encounter will be followed by a screening of films inviting us to considerer why is there so much disregard for the workers and how strike is an effective way to regain dignity.

An introduction to a history of the Proletarian literature, with readings of texts by Constant Malva, Marcel Martinet, Victor Serge…What about the cinema made by the workers? An encounter with Catherine Roudé, film historian, for the launch of her book Le cinéma militant à l’heure des collectifs (The politically engaged cinema at a time of collectives).
