“There…” fait référence à un pays inconnu que le protagoniste considère comme sa maison. Une terre sans frontières sans caractéristiques et rien d’autre que le sol. Il n’y a pas d’architecture dans cette maison, ni physiquement ni spirituellement. Le sol représente une entité qui incarne le potentiel de croissance. Il fait référence au pays, l’Iran ; un lieu de possibilités aux multiples facettes. Dans la littérature persane, l’Iran est un nom féminin et encore beaucoup de gens s’appellent Iran ; une patrie qui donne naissance, où la croissance a lieu. Sur Wikipédia, la recherche la plus élémentaire sur Internet, il est indiqué qu'”un pays est un organe territorial distinct ou une entité politique (c’est-à-dire une nation). On l’appelle souvent la terre de naissance, de résidence ou de citoyenneté d’un individu. Ce court métrage pose la question de savoir si la protagoniste se considère vraiment comme la résidente ou la citoyenne de cette terre inconnue ? Afin d’être physiquement dans ce pays, la protagoniste est forcée par l’intervieweur d’être malhonnête et de douter de ses pensées. A la fin, c’est elle qui doit quitter cette terre et emporter “There” avec elle.

“There…” refers to an unknown country which the protagonist calls home. A borderless land with no features and nothing but soil. There is no architecture in this home, neither physically nor spiritually. The soil represents an entity that embodies the potential for growth. It refers to the country, Iran; a place of multi-faceted possibilities. In Persian literature, Iran is a feminine name and still many people are named Iran; a motherland which gives birth, wherein growth takes place. On Wikipedia, the most basic search on the internet, it states “a country is a distinct territorial body or political entity (i.e. a nation). It is often referred to as the land of an individual’s birth, residence or citizenship.” The short film draws upon the question whether the protagonist truly considers herself as the resident or citizen of that unknown land? In order to be physically in this country, the protagonist is forced by the interviewer to be dishonest and doubt her thoughts. At the end, it is she who has to leave that land and carries “There” with herself.
